My Collection Series

This is my newest collection titled, “ Beauty in the Process”. This collection was a very unexpected path. As God has used my art in a healing manor but to a more depth level.  It was as if God was doing a ”Hard Reset” On me.  Putting people in my life to help me learn my own path, but then pulling them away fording me to walk my own path. This series is a reflection of trusting  God in the process, grief, loss, finding light and learning how to hold to gratitude. Praising God when you don’t feel it. I pray as you embark on my new series journey that you find your path but that God has to be the center of it all.  God asked me the question, “ who am I doing my art for? what is your purpose?” As hard as it is it was never meant to be just about me. Work through the pain, trust in Him and be thankful for all he has done for us.  Exodus 14:14 “The Lord will fight for you while you (Only need to) keep silent and remain calm. Amp.

Reflection Series is designed to step back and reflect on God. Look at ourselves. Finding our purpose and identiy. I feel life can be so cold and like rough waters can take a lot out of us that we feel like we loose part of ourselves. This series was a place to reflect, think, and dream. If you are anything like me life pulls so hard that you loose yourself and don’t allow or give permission to dream. Learning what our dreams are, but allowing ourselves the time to dream. This series I want you to sit, reflect, pray seeking God, and dream. Follow the path strong like never before. Jer. 29:11 says for he knows the plans he has for us….but we have to let him lead our lives. His was are not our ways which makes it hard. Surrender, let go, listen, reflect and don’t give up.

This collection was a fun eye opener lesson. Before I started this collection I was walking out on Vilano Beach collecting seashells. I was praying asking God for direction. I thought I was in a place feeling good about things. Then the Lord brought to my attention how I was viewing myself vs how he seen me. As I was collecting shells the Lord said, “you love these little broken shells don’t you…” My response …”yes Lord they are so much fun because they are all different and you never know what you will find.” The Lord shared with me how he sees us the same was as I seen the broken shells. That no matter how broken we are he still loves and treasures us and sees us as beautiful even when we don’t see it in ourselves. When we are broken we are so hard on ourseves trying to fix the brokenness. Just as the broken shells we need to see ourselves the way God sees us even in our brokenness… we are beautiful, wonderful and fearfully made!  Ps. 139: 14
