Karen Mackley Arts
My artistic journey is very unusual. I hope that by sharing my story it can be an inspiration to you.
August 5th 2022 was my very first Art class. Who knew where this journey was to go. I had no previous experience or knowledge about art. I knew I had a love for it and loved looking at art but never in my wildest dreams did I think it was possible.
the year 2022 was a very hard year for me with a lot of trying and difficult-traumatic experiences. Following those difficult experiences I had yet another significant loss. May 5th 2022 my father passed away. I really had a hard time and was seeking God for a way to get through what I had to go through. I had no idea but I was completely allowing God to work.
God has used my artwork in a way that has been healing for me and others.

In Loving Memory

Another inspiration and gift in my life….
As God continues to lead me my journey has added Adriana as my new Art instructor. I am so blessed by the people God has put in my life. She has a heart for teaching and tallent that reflects God's love. We share location at the GNG in St Augustine.
She helps you not to ever stop striving and reaching for Gods best. Thank you Adriana for your support as I grow in my journey.
A Bright Future
Pictured with me is my first art instructor Paulo Jimenez. I met Paulo at the Georgia Nick Gallery in St Augustine Through encouragement and get refocus and see things through Gods perspective, refocus in life and push my talents forward. I am so grateful. God truly puts people in your life at the right time.
I was the girl who said I can’t draw, and truly wished I could pain. Now is a girl sharing her dream and story with others. I hope this story will inspire you at any age nothings to impossible with God. When we give Him a blank canvas and let him move and guide the paint strokes he truly is the one who makes beautiful artwork in our lives. Never give up on your dreams

My family
My family plays a big part. A mother of three my children are my biggest inspiration for all that I do.
Photographed above is my brother and my father. They too have been a large part of my desire for new adventures. I am blessed in so many ways.
As a mother of three young children I encourage God's growth in their lives as well as watching God work through their art work. I strongly believe we should encourage everyone including children to find the path that God has for them. Everyone is gifted through God, but its getting to a place in your life to receive and use those gifts. Always give him thanks in all things for there is beauty in the work of God in you. I hope you find encouragement to seek God first and give HIM the paint brush in your life to let him do what HE wants to do in your life.
